Q. Don’t children need to be socialized?
A. This is the most frequent question that we hear. Yes, children do need socialization and who better to facilitate that than their parents. It is YOUR duty to teach them how to behave in public situations. Why would you want them to be thrown into a mix of children and have to figure out for themselves how to behave, this will only lead to trouble. The Bible says in II Corinthians 6:14 “ Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers” there is also this command given in verse 17 “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you”. So it is very clear that Christians cannot be “mixed” with the Unchristian behavior that is learned in a government school.
Q. But shouldn’t I expose my children to the world so that they will know how to deal with worldly situations?
A. No, being exposed to sin will lead many to partake in that behavior. Would you take your child to the local bar on a Friday night to see how the world acts? Certainly not, then why would you want them to be exposed daily to the sinful influence that they will see in a government school?
Q. Isn’t Homeschooling expensive?
A. Not necessarily. The average cost to educate your children with us is around $350 for one year, including registration and curriculum. Of course this will depend on how much you wish to purchase and how much you may want to create on your own. But looking at what you would have to spend in a government school, class fees, backpacks, lunch boxes, the latest trend in clothes, you will save money by homeschooling which you can use for field trips or just to treat your children to something special.
Q. Am I qualified to teach my children?
A. YES, throughout the Bible parents are given the responsibility of teaching their children. In Proverbs 1:8 the Bible says “My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother”. And in Deuteronomy 4:9 “Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons”. So YOU are the one that God has given that job to. Just because one has a certificate or a degree does not necessarily mean that they are qualified. And we are here to help you with any curriculum or school type questions.
Q. I couldn’t pass Algebra in high school how can I teach my child?
A. We offer the latest in education curriculum, and if that is not enough we can also help you find a tutor, or you can hire one on your own. Many people know teachers and there are also support groups out there who can pool their resources to find the right person to teach a subject that you may have trouble with.
Q. How do I know what my children are required to learn?
A. We can schedule a consultation with you to help you customize your child’s curriculum to suit their learning style. During that consultation we will also help you to make sure that your child can get the credits he/she needs to graduate.
Q. But school has already started is there anything I can do for this year?
A. YES, you can transfer to us at anytime and we will take care of all the “legwork” for you. Remember “We make Home

Q. What if the State wants to check my house to be sure that I am schooling my children?
A. Most of the time this question is an invalid point, to date we have never had one of our member’s homes searched. Of course the government has no right to search without a warrant; that right is guaranteed by the Constitution.
Q. Don’t I have to register with my local school system?
A. No. We handle all of your records and the only paperwork you have to do is the enrollment form and the semi-annual progress and attendance form. “We make Home Education SIMPLE!”
